Tell what was done that you don’t like and what you would like to be done instead. Ask student if he or she agrees. If not – work out another solution. If you CAN’T agree Get help! Go to an adult and say, “I need help working out this problem.” • Tag and soccer games on grass only • At all times students must have a pass to be in the hallways or to go to the library/office. • Restrooms are not to be used for playing. • The red pavement area between wings is a hallway and not to be used for active play. • The area between the library and multipurpose room is off limits to play. • Behave in a respectful manner toward all students and adults. • Rough play is not allowed. back to top BellWhen the five-minute whistle blows, students get a last chance to use restroom, drinking fountain and return playground equipment. back to top The cafeteria is a place to
enjoy lunch and visit with classmates. Our students are encouraged to recycle
lunch containers using various recycling bins. We also offer a "Peanut-Free
Table" for students with serious food allergies. Students who
violate the Table Manners rules may be asked to sit at the "Please
Try Harder Table". Table Manners
Notices are used to communicate when students’ behavior is in violation of school rules. Notices are used between teachers and yard duties. Appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken at the school by yard duty supervisors/teachers. back to top A discipline referral is given to those students who continue to misbehave or behave in a way that is harmful to others. The principal will meet with the student/s and discuss the problem. Appropriate action will be taken. Parents and teachers will be notified.
